- A town situated 65 kmts to the south of Varna, 75-80 kmts from the airport. It lies in the skirt of the eastern part of Stara Planina Mountain with the mountain ridge rising to the west of the city and to the Dvoynitza River bounding it to the north.
- There is regular bus transport from Varna and Burgas. This is regarded and a "Sea and Mountain" resort at an altitude of 65 mtrs. 40 kmts north east from Nesebar.
