Kranevo – is a small village, 20 km north of Varna near the Albena resort. It is situated near a quite bay 2 km from the resort Albena, Golden sands is 8 km away to the south.It is known as a resort for children, where they go for their vacations – many school camps you can find here.

Nowadays Kranevo is a resort for families and young people who canot afford expensive resort and complexes. The sea is the shallow near the beach and that gives admirable opportunity for the small children for bathing. The shore between Kranevo and Albena is high and extremely picturesque with sharply cut rocky formation. There are a lot of vines and small private gardens on the shore.

This place is suitable for those on a budget, because the prices in Kranevo are far cheaper than those in Albena, besides there is a great capacity of private lodgings for foreigners and Bulgarian tourists. There are regular bus lines to Kranevo from Varna, Balchik and Dobrich.
